kitna badal gaya hai gaon

gaon ab bas humaari smritiyon me hai ..hum apne tamaam bhoot aur bhavishya ke bawajood apne vartmaan me hi jeete hai..is vartmaan me shaher hai..shaher jise sans lene ki bhi fursat nahi....din raat ke nirdharako ne kaam ke ghante tak nirdharit kar diye hai ..to kya gaon ki taraf bhaagna sahi hoga....kaash..gaon ab wo gaon nahi raha...jahan log chandni raat me chato me khula sote the....kisi ke sukh dukh me poora gaon jutta tha...mithleshwar ki ek kahani hai chunchi....jo gaon me rehne waali ek aurat dantuli ki kahaani hai dantuli ka us gaon me to kya duniya me koi apna nahi tha...phir bhi woh gaon me kaafi lokpriya thi...hansti thi hansaati thi..doosro ke dukh me roti bhi thi...sohanpapdi banakar bechti thi par bechti kam baantti jyaada thi..gaon ke peepal ke paas usne apni chat daal rakhi thi..ek din dantuli chal basi....dantuli ne apne jeete ji ek paisa nahi bacchaaya tha..aur na uska koi apna tha..to kai sawaal uthe..uske antim sanskaar ka prabandh kaise ho...uske arthi ko kandha kaun kaun dega,,aur is mehangaai ke jamaane me lakdi uske liye kaun kharidega....aur sabse important prashna to ye tha ki us abhagan ko aag kaun dega...kyunki jo bhi aag dega use baarah din tak sabhi karmkando ko nibhaana hoga...itna lafda kaun mole....to khair pehle in prashno par vichaar kiya gaya..phir kuch naujawaano ko saath lekar ek bhale manas ne chanda uthaaya..jisse jo bhi bana usne dantuli ke liye diya..aur sab use foonkne shamshaan chale...dantuli ko aag dene ke liye ek dom ko bola gaya lekin dom ad gaya...."bina paisa ke hum aag naikhe deb" ab gaon waalo par musibat....jo paise the woh lakdi me bhi kam pade the....lakdi waala udhaar dene ko razi na tha...use to roz lakdi bechni hai kab tak udhaar karega.....par kisi tarah laash ko jalaane ki taiyaari ho gayi thi ab is dom ko dene ke liye paise kisi ke paas nahi bache the..to pata chala ki dantuli ki ek sone ki chunchi (nathuni) thi par reewaz yeh tha ki marne waale ne marne se pehle agar sona pehna ho to use lash ke moonh me rakh dete hai...gaon waalo ne dom ko kaha ki chunchi dantuli ke moonh me rakh di jaayegi ..laash jalne se pehle hi tum use nikaal lena par is dantuli ki chunchi uske naak se ghayab milti hai..gaon waalo ko lagta hai ki laash ko nahaane samay ye uske pet me chali gayi hogi....to yehi baat dom ko kahi jaati hai ki laash jab jal jaaye to tum nikal lena uske pet se..dom taiyaar ho jaata hai....kahaanikaar ne yahan par ek bahut marmik baat likh di hai ki aur koi laash hota to dom laash ko jalne bhi na deta aur apna saamaan lekar use nadi me ya maidan me chod aata jise baad me chil kaue kha lete..taaki woh bachi khuchi lakdiyon ko waapus bech sake.....khair dantuli ke jal jaane ke baad bhi chunchi nahi milti hai ...ant tak pata nahi chaltaa hai ki chunchi kaha gayi......kahanikaar hume prashno ke biyanbaan me laakar chod deta hai......kya sachmuch gaon se insaaniyat khtma hoti jaa rahi hai..mithleshwar ki ye kahaani dil ko choo jaati hai ki koi bhi patra ghalat nahi hai ...sab prasthitiyan hai...gaon me paisa hai nahi ..logo ka khud ka pet bharna mushkil hai..aise me extra kharch kaise kare...ye kahaani premchand aur renu ki yaad dilaati hai...ek samay ke liye ye viswaas kerna mushkil ho jaata hai ki ye kahani premchand ya renu ki nahi hai....par ye ho bhi sakta hai..kyunki premchand ki kahaniyon me faile tamaam garibi ke bawajood gaon me me kam se kam ye sthiti nahi thi....aaj durbhagywash wo sthiti hai aur iska beeda mithleshwar ne uthaaya hai

Dipankar Perhaps This story was not included in Mithileshwar ki pratinidhi kahaniyan.
Certainly he has touched village and rural life in his stories. Have read only his Pratinidhi Kahaniyan. Very hard hitting stories.

yaar i must say it is a great story but it's not that vices were not in villages earlier but there used to be social bondings which used to pressurize people to behave in certain ways in certain circumstances and now that bonding is missing, hence this behaviour. villagers were never very rich and those who were rich had become rich by oppressing others. there was also some idealistic picturisation of villages but now that idealism is missing. we know from our experiences that women in villages are not that chaste as thay are made to be or were made to be.
and the theory of existence our ancestors learnt very early during the dawn of civilisation was that sat, razas and tam are integral part of existence and the trinity of gods also kept the principle in mind.
